Annual Meeting 2020 Questions
14/June/2020 08:18 AM
Greetings to all.
We have been discussing the annual meeting in the midst of the Covid19 restrictions. North Carolina restrictions of no more than 10 people indoors and 20 people outdoors remains until June 26th. We have the fellowship hall reserved at Maggie Valley United Methodist Church (where we have met for several years) at 10:00 a.m. on July 4th. We are awaiting an answer to whether or not we can use their outdoor pavilion. That would mean only 20 people at the meeting which could be worked out having 1 member per household or 1 family member. In the past we have had at least 30 plus people attending. The other option is to have the meeting via ZOOM. So, all is up in the air until we hear what happens after June 26th.
To wrap this up:
1. If the restrictions are lifted, the meeting will go on as planned...at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
2. Have a meeting outdoors limited to 20 people/ 1 member per household or 1 family member.
3. Have the meeting via ZOOM.
We would appreciate your input and value any suggestions you have. Please respond to this email as to your choice if we cannot have the meeting as planned.
A. Outdoor meeting limited to 20 people.
B. Meeting per ZOOM
C. Any other insights or suggestions.
We thank you in advance.

Greetings to all.
I had a discussion with a resident today about some vehicle that has been tearing up the road. This happened about 3/4 of the way up the mountain. Today a pickup truck was spotted going up toward the top of the road. We don't know if this was the vehicle that did the tearing up or not but the truck had not been seen before. If you have any information to share please let me know.
Also, for security reasons I will be changing the gate code at the gate key pad on Friday. A reminder to new residents you do not need to change your remotes...handheld or on your vehicle. The new code will be XXXX. (see your e-mail)
Thanks, Dave
